Torrent Crackling Sound In Light Switches

My light switch make a loud noise when used slowly; does it need to be replaced / fixed? Ask Question Asked 5 years, 7 months ago. Active 4 years, 7 months ago. One of the switches consistently makes a loud crackling / popping noise when used slowly. The other switch if played with slowly enough will make a quiet pop after several trys.

Hello all,I've lately got an expansion completed and as part of the function four light accessories in my primary hallway had been changed from regular incandescent ceiling flowers into reduced energy accessories that only consider fluorescent 'L1' lights (they have a base equivalent to á GU10 but longer). This has been needed to obtain the completion certification on the expansion.I are happy with the accessories and the light result from the light bulbs, however I noticed this morning that each of the light bulbs will be ticking rapidly whenever they are changed off. It is certainly the noise you make when you lightly tap your hand on the top of a keyboard switch. Each of the 20 light bulbs (5 per installing) emits this sound and they are usually in-sync with each additional at each fitted.
